About Us
Our Vision Statement"We exist to be a Free Methodist Church of Worship the Word, Prayer and Fellowship."
Our Vision Statement is explained in our Mission Statem
Our Scriptural Theme
"In the desert, prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway
for our God. Every valley shall be raised up and every mountain and hill made low; the
rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord
will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it, for the mouth of the Lord has
spoken." (Isaiah 40:3-5)
The Lamb’s Book of Life
The Bible tells us that "only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life"
(Rev. 21:27) will enter the kingdom of heaven. When anyone receives Christ as Lord
and Savior, all heaven rejoices! We share in that celebration by inviting new Christians
to sign our earthly version of the Lamb’s Book of Life and by faithfully presenting them
to the Lord in prayer.
Many serve faithfully in caring for God's house, caring for those in this church family and
in our community, helping greatly to "prepare the way for the Lord". We are grateful for
those who serve Jesus in our various church ministries.
What does "Free Methodist" mean?
The word "free" is representative of the scriptures in the Bible which speak of God's
intent that we be FREE to worship as God leads, FREE to enter into God's house and
FREE to live as men and women created equal in God's sight. "METHODIST" refers
to the Bible, which, as God's written word, teaches that our faith in Him and our life-walk
with Him is His provided "method" for us to have a personal relationship with our Creator
Savior, Guide and God.
