The Vision:
Oasis Christian Fellowship is a multiethnic church on a mission to become a truly intergenerational family. We are "disciples making disciples," and we are looking for a leader who is passionate about Jesus and the Kingdom of God to help our children do the same. Core Responsibilities:
Your role will be to lead children and families into a deeper relationship with Christ through three primary pillars:
1. Spiritual Shepherding & Discipleship
Teach children to abide in Christ, belong to His community, and join His mission.
Develop a weekly relational environment featuring worship, prayer, Scripture, and age-appropriate small groups.
Lead children in experiencing the gifts of the Spirit and a life of active prayer.
2. Leadership & Volunteer Development
Identify, recruit, and multiply a team of volunteers and leaders.
Mentor and disciple parents to be the primary spiritual mentors in their children’s lives.
Coordinate childcare/babysitting for all-church events.
3. Missional Outreach & Community Connection
Good News Club: Collaborate with local elementary schools to plan after-school programs.
Events: Lead periodic outreaches like Harvest Fairs, Summer Family Fun Nights, and VBS (Summer Fun Camp).
Networking: Build bridges with local schools through service projects and Bible clubs.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a "Born Again" leader who models the character of Christ and possesses the following:
Character : A deep love for God and people; a clear call to serve young lives.
Philosophy : Aligned with the "disciples making disciples" model of multiplication.
Cultural Fit : Ability to connect with diverse cultures and build intergenerational bonds.
Skills: Strong implementation/strategy skills; ability to multitask.
Creative: Proficiency in (or ability to coordinate) graphic design, social media, and video.
